SodaHead.com
October 3rd, 2008
I’ve been working at SodaHead.com for a while now. When I first started at SodaHead, there was a bit of getting-up-to-speed involved. I walked in to an environment that I have not been a part of where code management and version releasing it a major priority. It has been especially nice to focus on quality code for applications rather than just getting something out the door. Read the rest of this entry »
Hackings
September 30th, 2008
Recently a few of my sites have been hacked by some Palestinian fundamentalists in Turkey… Unfortunately, the way I’ve had the server set up, they were able to sweep across a few domains and wipe out some content. So you may notice some of the pages on this blog are missing content. Please be patient with me as I attempt to restore each piece of content… In the meantime, DOWN WITH INTERNET PIRACY!! Why can’t we all just get along?
The first thing I ever did in Flash!
May 17th, 2008
I was cleaning out some old files and I stumbled across this! BluebYrd was a parody on my life at the time because I had blue hair for a bit, before I had to get a real job and actually deal with people! I took a basic Flash course (total 6 hours) introduction. I went home each night and cranked away at creating this animation, which I never finished. But seeing where I am today, I thought it is funny to see where I was when I started. It’s encouraging!

project mysterio. video
December 3rd, 2007

2005 Self Portrait
December 3rd, 2007
While attending school and delivering pizzas, I noticed that there was quite a bit of driving going on. This video plays with the concept of being driven toward a goal and driving in a car. I used all still imagery and cut the entire video to “The Sinister Minister” by Bela Fleck and the Flecktones.
Convenience
December 3rd, 2007
Technology and convenience is what inspired this piece. In an age where technology makes leaps and bounds in improvement, it seems that perhaps the only thing slowing it down is the user. Convenience is not intended to create a shock value or to depict the apocalypse, rather it attempts to illustrate the relationship between man (woman) and machine. It is laid out like an advertisement to illustrate our broad acceptance and love of technology as a culture.

Transition
December 3rd, 2007
Transition, is more or less a self portrait. I completed this piece in my last semester of college before starting my career. At the time I was enrolled in an inordinate number of classes and planning a wedding with my now wife. Transition is about moving from one phase of life to another and challenges the issue of time as it attempts to illustrate the barriers of the unknown sometimes uncertain future. Art sometimes speaks to us in ways we don’t understand. This piece was a self reflection that I perhaps did not set out to determine in the inception of the project. In the end it spoke to me in a new way from it’s original intent.

project mysterio. book
December 2nd, 2007
A 20 page book describing the project mysterio. story. This book was created as a result of constant request for me to tell the story of project mysterio. I wrote and photographed a book because the story is rather long and I needed a solution. I have sold several copies.
