Growing up with a father who is a software engineer working for IBM and an artistic mother, it only seemed natural for me to gravitate towards Flash. I’ll admit at first I was more interested in the creative side of flash, creating animations and using the timeline. After a while, I found that the more I wanted to do, the more technical I had to become. The more technical I became, the more I enjoyed it. All those electronics and chemistry projects and working on the car with my dad paid off when it came to problem solving in code. I find that there is tremendous creativity in coding and I love challenges that cause me to grow in my skills. I am truly an analytical person with a creative bend. When it comes to Flash I’ve learned that this combination creates an excellent skill that has served me well over the years in being able to understand deep creative concepts and complex software paradigms.
